Description
Regional SE Truck Driver
Drivers will operate in NC, SC, GA & TN
1375 miles per week
Trucks will be parked in Charlotte for time off
Requirements: (must have one of the following for experience)
- At least 1 year OTR experience in the past 3 years
- At least 2 years OTR experience in the past 5 years
- Experience must be with comparable equipment (48 foot or longer)
* Local experience will count if the driver has been driving in the same states as a regional position
* Must have a safe driving history, stable work history & an upstanding MVR
Drivers will make multiple store deliveries. All freight will be on pre-loaded pallets, which will
be moved via electric lift gates & electric pallet jack to the back door of the stores. There will also be loose light weight (topper) freight in carts that will need to be moved to the back door of the stores, as well. Most stops will take at least 1 hour. There are 4-5 stops average per trailer, 3-5 trailers per week & 15+ stops per week.
Drivers average $1200 - $1375 per week & $65,000 - $72,000+ annually
$25.00 stop pay & $85.00 trailer unload pay
Weekly $35 -$45 bonus paid for all safe/on-time deliveries
All new drivers will ride along with another driver for 2 days to learn the account & be paid $200 per day.
Drivers will be out Mon - Fri & be off on the weekends. Most drivers will be home late Friday afternoons & will go back out on Sunday evenings.
