Description
(Class A CDL) Tractor Trailer Driver
*All applicants MUST live NO MORE THAN 30 miles from Mebane
Must have 6 FULL months of SOLO experience driving a tractor-trailer in the last 12 months OR 1 year in the last 2 years
- All experience must be verifiable T/T experience with at least a 40 foot trailer
- Local experience will count, as long as it was in a tractor trailer, longer than 40 feet
- T/T experience with a 26,001 lb. trailer will count
- No more than 2 Driving jobs in the past year for drivers with 6 months experience
- Safe & clean MVR preferred
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the customer's DC is required
- All applicants must have their most current 3 years of job history available to give during the app process
- Drivers will run local and overnight freight from NC through PA & NJ. Dedicated account
- Drivers will load and unload trailer and reload returns back to the distribution center
- Strictly pallet to trailer at the warehouse, then from trailer to storeroom at customer store location. There is no break down. All load/unloading is done with an electric pallet jack
- HOME EVERY OTHER DAY
- Drivers will be required to go with a mentor for up to 5 days to learn account
- 3 PM start. 12 hour shift. could be up to 14 hours during busy season
- $1200 - $1400 per week avg.
- Average miles per week 1500
- All trucks are at least 2 years old or newer. All automatics.
- All trucks are newer & well maintained automatics
