CDL-A Truck Drivers Needed – Joliet, IL & Surrounding Regions

Professional Class A CDL drivers are needed within a 60-mile radius of Joliet, IL. Hiring areas include Gary, IN, Janesville, WI, and Central IL. This role provides steady freight, strong pay, full benefits, and dependable weekly home time.

Driver Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months OTR experience in the past year, or 12 months in the last 3 years pulling a 53' trailer

• Must pass all DOT-required tests, including drug screening (urine)

• Safe driving record – no major violations within the last 3 years

• Minimum age: 21 years

Compensation & Incentives:

• $215 daily pay

• $300 per trailer, averaging 2–4 loads weekly

• $100 per day for breakdown pay

• $80 monthly Training/HOS and Safety bonus

• Performance pay up to $103,000 per year

• Average weekly earnings: $2,190 (about $113,880 annually)

• Paid for 6 days while working 5 ½ days

Home Time & Work Schedule:

• Home every week with at least a 34-hour reset

• 5 ½ day schedule (weekends not guaranteed off)

Routes & Freight:

• Running lanes cover IN, IL, WI, MI, and Louisville, KY

• Hauling retail store freight

• Average 800–1,100 miles per week

• Equipment: Sleeper trucks with 53’ Dry Van trailers

• 100% touch freight, all live load/unload

• Multiple stops and pick-ups (no drop & hook)
