Local Intermodal Truck Driver

We are seeking experienced and dependable Local Intermodal Truck Drivers to join our professional transportation team. This position offers consistent home-daily routes, competitive weekly pay, and excellent equipment. Drivers will handle intermodal freight with a combination of drop-and-hook and live load assignments—no touch freight.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver intermodal loads to and from customer locations

• Perform drop-and-hook and live load assignments as scheduled

• Conduct accurate pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Class A CDL

• Clean MVR and clean background check required

• Stable work history with consistent employment

• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings

Position Highlights

• Home Daily – no overnight travel

• Drop & Hook / Live Loads – no touch freight

• Consistent Schedule Options – Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday

• Night shifts are 7 PM - 4 AM. Weekends start on Saturdays from 1:00 AM until Monday at 4:00 AM

• Night shift bonus of an additional $0.05 CPM and weekend bonus of an additional $0.12 CPM

• Day shift info to be given upon call back from processor per real-time schedule

• Modern Equipment – newer automatic trucks

Compensation & Benefits

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,400 - $1,600

• Stop Pay: $40 per stop

• Mileage: Approximately 1,800 miles per week

• Equipment: Late-model automatic trucks

• Paid Orientation: One-day paid orientation
