Local Yard Hostler

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Local Yard Hostler to support our operations on the second shift. Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely and efficiently within the yard

• Maintain communication with dispatch and operations teams

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment

• Ensure all yard moves and trailer placements meet operational standards

• Adhere to all safety policies and DOT regulations

Schedule: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Monday–Friday Base Hours. Some weeks may include nine-hour shifts

Compensation: $24–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience

Approximately $1,200 - $1,300 per week

Home daily

No overnight travel required

No unloading required

Equipment: Late-model automatic trucks

Qualifications

• 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL license

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience

• Strong MVR with minimal or no violations

• Clean background check with little or no prior charges

• Demonstrated job stability – no frequent job changes

• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
